On-Demand - Pricing Successful Proposals for Government Contracts
This workshop addresses the specific elements of the costs that make up a contract price including direct labor and material, overhead, general and administrative, and profit, including how each is calculated and applied.
Tools, terminology, concepts, and cost principles will also be addressed. Real world examples will be discussed to help participants better understand how these tools, terminology, concepts, and principles apply to solicitations and contracts.
The workshop will provide a basic understanding of the requirements set forth by the government to develop and support the cost elements in your contract price including:
Requirements of/Framework for & Importance of Compliant Accounting System
Important Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) references
Specific elements of cost that make up a contract price and how each is calculated and applied
Basic tools/How to develop and support a contract price for a government proposal
Terminology, Concepts & Cost Principles
