Target Audience:
This workshop is for individuals who want to improve the probability of winning State of Texas & Local government services contracts only as a Prime Contractor through effective solicitation review.
Workshop Description:
To protect your company’s time and money, it is at least as important to know when not to bid as it is to know how to bid. Through presentation with examples and a hands-on exercise, this workshop will educate you on:
- The common elements of a solicitation and how to look for them
- How to efficiently identify “showstoppers” that indicate you should abandon a bid
- How to assess your Probability of Winning (P-Win) and make an informed Bid/No Bid decision
- How to craft effective questions/requests for clarification to the customer during the solicitation process
- How to align a response outline with solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.
Note Well: The material in this workshop is for the State of Texas and Local contracts only. This workshop also does not cover pre-solicitation activities, such as Business Development / Capture and opportunity identification, nor does it address proposal development.
