Title:

Effective Solicitation Review for State of Texas & Local Government Bids

Target Audience:

This workshop is for individuals who want to improve the probability of winning State of Texas & Local government services contracts only as a Prime Contractor through effective solicitation review.

Workshop Description:

To protect your company’s time and money, it is at least as important to know when not to bid as it is to know how to bid. Through presentation with examples and a hands-on exercise, this workshop will educate you on:

  • The common elements of a solicitation and how to look for them
  • How to efficiently identify “showstoppers” that indicate you should abandon a bid
  • How to assess your Probability of Winning (P-Win) and make an informed Bid/No Bid decision
  • How to craft effective questions/requests for clarification to the customer during the solicitation process
  • How to align a response outline with solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.

Learning Objectives:

The objectives of this workshop are to help businesses become proficient in reviewing government solicitations to:

  • Make an informed decision whether to bid or not
  • Establish a basis for a proposal response that is compliant and focused on how the Government will evaluate your proposal.
