SBA All Small Mentor-Protégé Program (ASMPP)

Target Audience: Small businesses including 8(a), HUBZone, ED/WOSB, SDVOSB, and small disadvantaged businesses pursuing federal contracting opportunities, seeking strategic growth partnerships.

Workshop Description: This workshop provides an overview of the SBA All Small Mentor-Protégé Program and how small businesses can leverage mentor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the federal marketplace. Participants will learn Program eligibility requirements, benefits of approved mentor-protégé agreements and joint venture opportunities.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the purpose and structure of the SBA All Small Mentor-Protégé Program

  • Identify eligibility requirements for mentors and protégés

  • Learn how joint ventures can improve federal contracting opportunities for both mentors and protégés

  • Recognize Program benefits and compliance responsibilities.

Department of War (DoW) Mentor-Protégé Program

Target Audience: Small businesses including disadvantaged businesses, women-owned businesses, HUBZone firms, veteran-owned businesses and companies supporting the defense industrial base, interested in DoW contracting opportunities.

Workshop Description: This workshop introduces the Department of War’s Mentor-Protégé Program and its role in strengthening small business participation within the defense supply chain. Attendees will explore Program goals, eligibility criteria, mentor incentives, developmental assistance opportunities, and strategies for building successful partnerships with prime contractors.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the purpose and objectives of the DoW Mentor-Protégé Program

  • Identify eligibility requirements and qualifying small business categories

  • Learn the types of developmental assistance available through the Program

  • Understand mentor incentives and benefits for participating firms

  • Explore strategies for establishing successful mentor-protégé relationships in the defense marketplace

  • Explore how the Program increases DIB suppliers.
